A roadside outside a tire repair business is home to an unloved and crippled dog with bent legs that has been abandoned

In the middle of February, tire repair workers Ozimar and Lindomar Queiroz were taken aback when they showed up early for work at the tire repair shop on Estrada do Belmont in Porto Velho’s North Zone. The reason for this was a stray dog at the side of the road. The mild creature was immobile, slender, and had open paws.

Aware of the dog’s situation, Ozimar, also known as Galego, offered to look after him until he could find a permanent home. However, twenty days have passed and the dog is still without a home.

They left him outside the shop. When we arrived in the morning, he was present. We brought him here and are feeding him since we feel so bad for him, but the poor animal is stuck in this situation. He says, “My two front legs are turned back, so I can’t walk.”

Because of the way it was positioned on the board—its two open paws preventing it from moving—the dog was affectionately named Seal.

The dog is moved about by the tire mechanics several times during the day, but in the end, he drags himself through the muck to make contact with the only available animal companion—a stray cat that wanders around the tire shop.

Lindomar Queiroz reports that the dog is at ease and seeking veterinarian care, but he is unable to pay for it.

We called him a seal because of his appearance. When we first got him, he was severely underweight, but now that we’re feeding him, he’s starting to gain weight. “We don’t care that he’s dirty from the rain,” declares Lindomar.

Social media users were outraged by the dog’s abandonment, and a Porto Velho couple has since adopted Foca.

The pit bull was found on the road and cared for for more than three weeks by the tire repair workers, who fed and watered him. He was once referred to as “Foca,” until Michele took him in and changed his name for good.

“I was smitten at first sight. I was moved to tears by his situation. She is so docile and loving that she becomes even more helpless than she already is. “I fell in love with him,” the trainee in business economics said. “I cherish him.” I run out of things to say. I adore him immensely. Mom’s opinion.
