The impoverished Uno, bred especially for experimentation in labs. Uno is now called his son by a loving father who exclusively has daughters after he was thankfully released from the lab. And he means it, for sure!
John oversees the Kindness Ranch Animal Sanctuary in Wyoming as its executive director. Remarkably, Kindness Ranch played a part in one of the biggest dog rescue operations ever. They helped to save nearly four thousand dogs!
One of the first group of rescued dogs returned from Virginia was Uno, and John was amazed at how noisy he was! Uno made it obvious that he didn’t feel at home with the group of 32 dogs that were kept in kennels. To soothe the puppy, he spent as much time as possible sitting with him in his kennel.
John eventually took Uno home to care for him at the sanctuary. Though he was relieved to be free of the kennel, he had doubts about both people and animals. The puppy has never trodden on grass or even gone for a run.
Uno was ecstatic about his new environment. He jumped into John’s arms and smiled, giving a big hug to express his gratitude. At that point, John became a permanent father instead of a foster dad.
Uno’s adventure was about to start, and it was too incredible to miss! We are grateful to all the kind people who put up a great effort to help pets just like Uno. We are so grateful for all of your hard work!
