While loose ground slid and the puppies were buried, their mother sent out a loud cry for help
Earlier this week, Soner Büyümez, a veterinarian employed on a remote farm in Turkey, was drawn to a sound coming from the distance. It sounded helpless, like a cry for help.
“I hurried straight to the location,” Büyümez said to The Dodo. A landslip took place. I saw a dog that was embedded in the ground. Just her head
The dog was hurting. Büyümez would soon learn, though, that her concerns extended beyond her own life.
Büyümez said, “It was pretty sad when I first saw her.”
He realized he had to do something. Büyümez immediately reached for a shovel and began to dig.
Büyümez heard another sound as he lifted the ground surrounding the dog. Though faint, the boom was audible.
“Puppy cries,” reported Büyümez. They were buried beneath the earth.
After the first dog was safely removed, Büyümez started digging again, wanting to protect her pups.
Büyümez saved seven puppies whose underground passage collapsed and they were buried alive, much to their mother’s relief.
Büyümez’s quick thinking had kept the furry family safe and sound.
Büyümez thinks the mother dog was a stray who ended up on her own in such a horrible situation. But she won’t be alone anymore with her kids.
“They are in exceptional general condition.” Büyümez declared, “The mother and her puppies were safe.” “I’ll treat them with the same consideration that I would.”
