Since he can remember, Scott Hodges has had a deep affection for pit bulls. Sheba, his pittie, passed away in 2004 after 15 years of life.
Luckily, Hodges has worked for UPS for the previous thirty-two years, and on his route, he encounters pit bulls every day. While he works with a variety of animals, including a very amiable pig, he truly has a soft spot for Pitbulls. He has gotten to know them all over the years, and they all adore him just as much as he does.
Hodges told The Dodo, “I know most of the pitties by name, but not all of them.”
Hodges makes daily stops on his UPS route to greet his pit bull friends as well as all the other pets. They know they can always count on Hodges to provide them with food and attention, so they recognize him and keep an eye out for him.
“Every time I see them, I give them biscuits, and all of the pitties on my route are friendly,” Hodges said.
He snaps a lot of pictures to record all the cute things he comes across.
By now, he’s most likely taken pictures of every pit bull along his path.
Naturally, the pitties are always happy to see him.
And some are more inclined than others to go all out.
Along his route, he also takes pictures of other canines.
Nonetheless, his favorite breed will always be pit bulls.
Hodges is lucky to work in an environment where he can observe pit bulls daily, and he never gets tired of stopping to greet his friends.
