He was found immobile on the side of the road, with a large tumor protruding from his abdomen. It was impossible to leave him there because he was defenseless.
A nonprofit organization called “Helen Summerfield-Brown” is made up of volunteers who try their hardest to save any stray or abandoned animal. When they saw that the unfortunate dog was in bad shape, they had him picked up and taken to the hospital, where he received medical attention.
He had stopped eating, which was a sign that the tumor was killing him and that his situation was grave.
As soon as Midnight arrived safely, the veterinarians did an ultrasound, X-rays, and blood work. Regretfully, he suffers from several issues, such as anemia, malnourishment, and hookworms.
Moreover, they were unable to operate to remove the tumor since he would have perished due to his severely low blood platelets.
His tumor is getting bigger, therefore they are running out of time. To decide when he should undergo surgery, they ran all of the blood tests.
Everyone adores Midnight, who is a remarkable boy.
After a successful operation, Midnight’s tumor—which turned out to be a testicular tumor—was removed. It was massive, about 4.85 pounds in weight.
It was such a weight for his weak little body, and I’m so relieved that it’s gone now. Midnight has made us very proud; following surgery, she was able to walk a short distance. The veterinarian said
“We will stop at nothing to support this boy, who we adore.”
In a few days, Midnight will be available for adoption as his health continues to improve.
We are grateful to everyone who has already contributed to Midnight. Kindly, thank you!
