Kelly O’Connell’s wedding day will always be memorable in several ways. In addition to being the day she wedded her closest buddy, Charlie Bear, a 15-year-old black Labrador, it will also be remembered as the greatest day of her life. He should have been by her side naturally.

Charlie Bear would be carried down the aisle by Katie Lloyd, Kelly’s sister, and maid of honor, on a very special day.

Peace be with you, Charlie Bear. You’ll always be loved and remembered.

The dog, whose brain cancer was discovered in April, will pass away on September 9.
