It’s hard to decide who is cuter in this couple 93-year-old Sally or 1-year-old Brody. Either way, seeing them together is a delightful sight.
Sally, 93, lost her spouse in 1990, and she has spent the last 15 years living next to Dave Mazarella in Mt. Vernon, Washington. Although she has known all of his dogs, she has never felt quite the same level of affection as she has for Mazarella’s Saint Bernard, Brody, who is one year old.
Before noon, Sally received a visit from Brody, who is well-known on Instagram, which she promptly informed TODAY.
“He came over with Dave this morning and was here already,” she asserted. He is a sweetheart! For breakfast, I offered him a crust of bread.
It’s safe to assume that Brody and Sally make each other’s lives happier because they see each other so frequently.
Mazarella continued, “Brody would wander over to her house.” “After that, she began offering him snacks.”
The rest is history, as they say. The pair now goes hand in hand as they stroll to church, watch the news, and pick up the daily newspaper.
“He’s so happy the moment he sees me,” Sally remarked. Dave says it’s my voice, so I know that Bobby truly loves me.
Her early years were spent on her family’s farm in Holland, which is where she first developed an appreciation for animals. She emigrated to Washington in 1952.
Out of Sally’s four children, only one resides in the vicinity. She stays in constant contact with each of them, and they all love seeing pictures of her and Brody together just as much as the rest of us do.
This dynamic duo undoubtedly can lighten our hearts, and Sally believes that her positive disposition may have contributed to her long and fulfilling life.
She continued, “My dad always claimed that I was the firstborn and that I was a joy from the day I was born. “I’ve experienced a few setbacks, but I always get back up.”
