Two boys in Sao Paulo, Brazil, on a cold day, strolled by a homeless dog outside a train station. Gabriel, the oldest, saw his brother Felipe perform a selfless deed while he was out purchasing tube tickets.
The dog was alone and freezing as it lay down against a wall. Felipe was aware that he could assist it, even if it required a small sacrifice. Gabriel described the scene by saying:
He noticed a puppy shaking in the frigid weather. It was the year’s coldest day.
Felipe took off his sweatshirt and set down his rucksack. And with that, he removed his t-shirt and put his sweatshirt back on. Gabriel, perplexed by what was going on, chose to record his brother in action on camera. He laughed at first at watching his brother undress in public.
“I saw my brother start recording after removing his rucksack from his back. He removed his sweatshirt and overcoat and put his shirt on the very cold puppy. He just did it on his initiative. It was so touching.
Felipe really threw off his shirt to thaw out a chilly dog! Later, Gabriel commented that he was shocked by the video’s viral success and that he was happy he shared it with everyone.
“Though I don’t post much to my feed, this deserves to be shared.”

He Looks Better in the Shirt Anyhow
On the way back, the brothers stopped at the same station again and searched for Felipe’s dressed dog. The puppy was gone, but they had intended to bring him home with them.
Even though Felipe loved the t-shirt, he later said on social media that the dog looked better in it.
“You can change the things within your reach, but there is no way to change the world.”
In my opinion, even a minor alteration in the world can have a significant impact on it. Giving anything away to someone in need—even if that someone is a dog—takes a genuinely compassionate person. Remarkers on the video concur.

In the future, I’ll make sure to dress in layers in case I come across any stray people who might need anything to wear.
