The tale of Woody, a dog looking for a permanent home. The dog’s childhood was not complete.
Woody “had to self-medicate without veterinary attention” after being attacked by another dog when he was five weeks old, according to SNARR Animal Rescue.
SNARR saved Woody after the dog’s owner tied it up and left it outside. Woody was abandoned and had to rely on the generosity of his neighbors to bring him food for six weeks before the SNARR found him and saved him.
SNARR’s Facebook post stated that Woody’s family had previously moved and left the dog behind. “We have decided to take him out of this abusive situation.”
The dog appeared deformed, but his condition was normal. “We don’t mind that Woody looks different from other dogs; in fact, it makes us love him even more.”

Woody’s adoptive mother was incensed when he showed up at his foster home.
